Okay...

Journal Entry: Tue Sep 25, 2007, 9:44 AM
We'll see how this goes, I'm semi-back for now, going to try it on for size. Over a year has gone since last, I'm in a different place both as a person and creatively.

Clever, or not so clever, remarks about how everyone comes back to deviantART at one time or another are not necessary.

I agree with your statement regarding critiques. Artists rely on honest critique... without them there really is no way of improving or growing. Not that you care but I find your gallery amusing containing well concieved and executed work throughout.

Darn.. I love that old style of yours.. The ink drawings, and the vectors. Unfortunatly I love the style, but I cannot find the one to +fav, so you'll have to do without.. :hmm:

If you'd come up with new ink drawings and simple vectors, I might watch you, but you seem to have put that style on the hat shelf

Still, love your old style

Just wanted to answer to what you wrote to me about the pope thing:

You're not quite right. OK, officially you didn't have to join the Hitler Youth, but if you didn't join or if you belonged to another group you were mobbed and beaten up. And at times the Hitler Youth would walk through town and pick up those who didn't belong to them and force them to join. Also if you didn't belong to them you're teacher would call your parents to make you join, otherwise you would be expelled from school.
So yeah you're actually right, but only in theory because in real life it was completely different. Because of the gigantic number of the Hitler Youth and because of Hitlers fondness with them, no one could really prevent them from doing what they wanted.
So you didn't have to join, but with the many consequences of not joinig, I think most of the boys then preffered to join.

    btw, i like your gallery
